Who we are

Good AI Life (goodai.life) is an online directory of AI tools. For privacy questions, contact hello@goodai.life.

Information we collect

• Account information from Google sign-in, such as your name, email address, profile image and account ID.
• Submission information, such as tool name, website URL, description, category, demo video links and any files you upload.
• Payment information processed by Stripe. We receive customer, order, subscription and payment status identifiers, but we do not store full card numbers.
• Technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring URL, and approximate location derived from your IP address or Cloudflare request data.
• Preferences stored in cookies or local storage, such as language, theme and session state.
• Messages you send to us by email or through the site.

How we use information

• Create and secure your account, sign you in and keep you signed in.
• Review, publish and display tool listings, including demo videos and category placement.
• Process payments, manage subscriptions and send receipts or billing notices.
• Send transactional email, such as welcome messages, payment receipts and review decisions.
• Detect abuse, spam, fraud and security issues, and enforce our Terms of Service.
• Understand how the site is used and improve its content, performance and features.
• Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

Legal bases

Where applicable, we process personal data to perform a contract with you, to take steps at your request before entering a contract, to pursue legitimate interests such as operating and securing the site, with your consent, or to comply with legal obligations.

Sharing information

We do not sell personal data. We share information with service providers that help us run the site, and only as needed for their services.

• Stripe for payment processing, subscriptions and, with Managed Payments, merchant-of-record services.
• Resend for transactional email delivery.
• Cloudflare for hosting, security, content delivery and request metadata.
• Google for sign-in and authentication.
• Professional advisers, authorities or successors if required by law or in connection with a business transfer.

International transfers

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

Retention

We keep account and listing information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Payment and tax records may be kept longer where required by law. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, or to request portability. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To make a request, email hello@goodai.life. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies and local storage for sign-in, language, theme and security. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser, but some features may stop working.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
